18th International Symposium on Rice Functional Genomics

We are pleased to announce the “18th International Symposium on Rice Functional Genomics” which will be held in Barcelona, Spain (ISRFG2021, November 3-5, 2021). Since 2003, this symposium had gathered every year scientists and students from all over the world to share and discuss recent breakthroughs on rice research. The COVID19 pandemic forced us to postpone the 18th ISRFG edition for one year; surely there will be many new developments in genetics, structural, evolutionary and functional rice genome biology to share this year in Barcelona.

The topic of the ISRFG2021 will be the “Impact of Climate Change in Rice Production”. We encourage you to check the different session themes and to submit an abstract for an oral or a poster presentation. As always, this symposium aims to provide an international forum for the dissemination of new ideas aiming to get a better understanding on how biological processes are organized and how they operate in the rice plant.

ISRFG2021 offers an excellent opportunity for “Young Researchers” to exhibit their research and to establish new contacts within researchers from different parts of the world. We encourage “Young Researchers” to participate in the ISRFG2021 meeting to connect with the international linkage for future collaborations in their career path.
