The UK Minister for Higher Education Sam Gyimah MP announced plans for an UK Research Infrastructure Roadmap.
The UK Science Academy (termed the Royal Society) used the event on January 22nd 2018 in London to publish its report (‘A snapshot of UK research infrastructures’). UK research councils (collectively termed UKRI) are tasked with scoping the UK research infrastructure landscape employing ESFRI criteria. The information gathered over the next 6 months will feed into the UK roadmap document (due for publication Spring 2019) that will identify priority areas for future major UK government investment. ESFRI-PREP EMPHASIS is well placed contribute to the UK RoadMap.
