EMPHASIS representatives participated in the EOSCpilot (28 - 29 November, 2017)
1st Stakeholder Engagement Event in Brussels, contributing to the first phase of the development of the future European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
It thus helped to drive forward the five specific pillars of the EOSCpilot project relevant for exploring the scientific, technical and cultural challenges ahead and to be addressed in implementing the EOSC: governance, policy, interoperability, skills and services. The event concluded with observations and suggestions published in three reports:
- Principles of Engagement in the EOSC;
- Interoperability in practice and FAIR data principles;
- Soap Box session for intermediaries, research communities and libraries;
